Three useful Hakone transport hubs
Your confirmation email names the correct meeting point. Do not travel automatically to Lake Ashi if your tour starts in Hakone-Yumoto or Odawara.
Odawara StationBest for Shinkansen arrivals and some tour connections
Odawara is the main Shinkansen gateway to Hakone. Not every Shinkansen service stops here, so check your train before boarding. From Odawara, the Hakone Tozan line continues to Hakone-Yumoto.
Hakone-Yumoto StationMost convenient base for many Hakone stays and several tours
The Odakyu Romancecar is a direct reserved-seat option from Shinjuku. Travellers arriving by Shinkansen can transfer at Odawara to the local train for Hakone-Yumoto.
Moto-Hakone PortLake Ashi meeting point for selected Breathe Hakone experiences
Moto-Hakone Port is beside Lake Ashi. Several bus routes serve this area, and road traffic can affect journey time. Use the official route search on the day and leave extra time before the meeting.
