At Coconuts Hike Japan, we understand that plans can change. To ensure fairness for both our guests and our team, we have the following cancellation policy in place.
1. Customer Cancellations
– 90% Refund: Cancel more than 7 days before your hike to receive a 90% refund. The remaining 10% is retained for the credit-card processing fee.
– No Refund: Cancellations within 7 days of the hike are non-refundable.
– No-Show Policy: If you do not show up on the day of the hike, no refund or rescheduling will be offered.
2. Rescheduling Options
– Free Rescheduling: Available if requested more than 48 hours before the hike (subject to availability).
3. Weather & Safety Cancellations
– If we cancel due to unsafe conditions (extreme weather, trail closures, etc.), choose either:
✅ Free rescheduling to a future date within one year (subject to availability)
✅ A 90% refund; the remaining 10% is retained for the credit-card processing fee.
– Light rain or moderate weather does not qualify for a refund unless deemed unsafe by our guides.
4. No-Refund Fees
– Third-Party Bookings: If you booked through a third party (e.g., Viator, Airbnb), their policies apply.
